TED 2022 Live: A New Era

Hear from an astonishing group of speakers who will share new ideas, tough truths and jaw-dropping creative visions at this year's TED Talk, hosted by Melbourne Connect and MEC.

Melbourne Connect and The Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre (MEC) have teamed up with TEDxFlindersStreet, to host a public and free to attend daytime screening of TED 2022 Live. Featuring brand-new TED Talks from TED 2022 Conference and a multi-disciplinary conversation resonant with the theme “New Ideas and Innovations for our New Era”, this is a TEDrrific opportunity to connect and converse with fellow TED fans in Melbourne. This year’s speakers include Bill Gates, Elon Musk, Al Gore, and as usual, numerous thinkers, doers and scientists across multi-disciplines.

In addition to showing the TED talks we will be hosting a 45 minute ‘Fireside Chat’ style talk in between the two screening sessions over lunchtime. The thought-provoking conversation will have the theme “New Ideas and Innovation for our New Era”. The imaginative and inspiring discussion will focus on Melbourne, MEC and Melbourne Connect with specific reference to digital transformation. Catering will be provided during this free lunchtime session.
