MKW - Opportunities of the Circular Economy in the Built Environment
The carbon emitted from making buildings is a burgeoning concern for those working in the built environment. In a panel talk to complement their (Co)design future homes with AR, Ignite seeks to bring together members of the industry to explore the opportunities circular economy principles offer in addressing this challenge.
You’ll hear from the perspectives of a property developer, design consultants, architects and built environment end users as we consider the reduction of virgin material consumption and waste production.
Ignite is a not-for-profit group of researchers who are passionate about the build environment industry, and supported by The University of Melbourne. Their work seeks to explore the impact built environments can have on advancing our social, environmental and economic progress.
The panel will be followed by a networking session to continue the conversations.
