Hosted by The Centre for Digital Transformation of Health at the University of Melbourne, spend a productive evening connecting with like-minded individuals interested in the digital transformation of health.
Who is attending? At this event, you will meet people from several different health organisations including clinicians, EMR teams, information managers, quality and safety managers, and more. Many event participants will have been engaged in a short course called "Applied Learning Health Systems." However, this event is open to the public and guests of short course participants.
Cannot make 5:30 PM start? No worries, as the first hour will be informal. Try to arrive before the pitches at 6:30 PM.
How will the pitches work? First, clinicians will pitch problems they have observed in their practice that they believe could be suited for a digital solution. Then, methodologists will pitch potential types of approaches that are suitable for health organisations including data analysis methods, digital solutions, and more. After the pitches, all participants are invited to connect with those that have pitched. We encourage people to discuss ideas and exchange contact information to facilitate future collaborations.
Take advantage of this evening to reflect on digital health care practice and connect with new people in-person.
