Judy Anderson, CEO
Startup Victoria

Judy is the CEO of Startup Victoria, a non-profit organiser of the largest startup events in Australia. Startup Vic’s community numbers 20,000+ practising and aspiring startup founders, investors, startup service providers and government. Judy is on a personal mission to make Victoria one of the best places in the world to build a high growth tech company. She’s worked with some of Victoria’s most exciting startups. If you buy her a whisky – she’ll tell you her favourites!

Michelle is a Content Producer in the realms of innovation and technology. Known as the “Hackathon Queen”, she runs hackathons and events to solve problems. You’ll often find her on stage MC’ing or speaking on a range of topics from artificial intelligence, to business, community engagement, the future of work, and esports.

As the founder of several tech companies, and a great knowledge of the startup ecosystem, she understands the ins and outs of starting and running a successful tech business. Her latest business is Raine Scooters, a stylish and high-powered electric scooter just for you. Mish also works as the Developer Community Manager for GitHub; enabling community groups and organisations to reach their greatest potential.

Trent Clews-de Castella, CEO & Co-Founder
PHORIA

Trent has an insatiable appetite for technology and immersive experiences. Co-founder and CEO at PHORIA, his mission is to create software and content that can transport you places. He believes that through the power of immersive media, we now have the tools to experience the world at our fingertips.

He has been deeply immersed in the worlds of Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality for the last three years. Within this time, society has witnessed an immense transformation in consumer hardware and software that have served to remove longstanding barriers to mainstream adoption.

Fresh from recently receiving two Webby awards, Trent will share stories of recent Phoria projects – ‘REWILD Our Planet’, a collaboration with WWF, Google, Netflix and ArtScience Museum as well as the recently launched ‘ecosphere’ VR Nature Documentary Series, narrated by Emmy® Award winner Anna Friel.
