How Women are Shaping the Future of Construction

According to a recent McKinsey report, the most gender diverse companies are 25% more likely to achieve above-average profitability compared to less diverse companies. This would seem to point to the fact that women are and will be a crucial component of a successful construction industry. Beyond this is the prediction the industry must tap into the female population to achieve any hope of expanding in 2023 as businesses struggle to fill jobs amidst widespread skill shortages. Yet despite this, women in Australia still only make up 12% of the construction workforce. Yes, more work needs to be done to narrow the gender gap, but what can be done to solve this dilemma?

Join InEight Solution Engineer Rianna Gates along with industry experts from Abergeldie, Filtec Water and Laing O’Rourke as they discuss their construction journeys and offer practical solutions to improve gender diversity.
