2023 TRAMaganza

Meet the vanguard of The University of Melbourne’s research translation community at the annual flagship event, TRAMaganza!

Presented by the Melbourne Entrepreneurial Centre, we’re delighted to celebrate the milestones of our 2023 TRAM Runway and Track cohorts.

Experience a series of engaging team presentations, followed by an electrifying TRAM Research Impact Expo where you can explore and engage one-on-one with the presenting teams, alongside other research ventures from across the University of Melbourne.

Join us as we come together to hear about each team's research impact journey, their program highlights and where their ventures will take them in the future.

Get to know the University’s biggest supporters and promoters of research entrepreneurship after the presentations as you network into the afternoon.

About TRAMaganza

We’ve been supporting TRAM teams to share their stories and shine a light on their journeys since 2016. Research translation at the University of Melbourne is growing exponentially and our programs are no different. This year’s TRAMaganza has never been bigger.

We’re welcoming 11 TRAM Runway teams and 10 TRAM Track teams into the limelight to showcase the impressive progress they’ve made in less than 3 months.

TRAM's Research Impact Expo

We know that some of the most useful conversations happen when you’re face-to-face, so while the pitches will inspire you, the post-event TRAM Research Impact Expo gives you chance to interact with the researchers and their solutions. Our researchers are excited to speak with you about their ventures and how they’re making a difference, so don’t hesitate to strike up a conversation with them and see how you can help.

Among the audience you’ll find people from across the University of Melbourne, educators, students and aspiring entrepreneurs, so ensure you leave enough time to mingle with our diverse TRAM ecosystem. Many teams have met at events such as this, so don’t miss out!

How can I get involved?

If you would like to collaborate with any of our teams, bring your ideas to our researchers on the day. We’re thrilled to help support partnerships where we can.

If you’re a researcher who’d like to learn more about translating your research into real world impact, submit an expression of interest form and we’ll help you find a program that fits.
