Future Melbourne Committee
Council will be holding its ‘Future Melbourne’ Committee meetings in neighboring locations. The purpose of holding these outside the town hall in various locations, is to provide the community with an opportunity to hear about what Council is doing in their area, opportunity to meet Councillors in an informal setting and to be able to experience and participate in the bureaucratic process. Light refreshments available prior to the meeting.
This Future Melbourne Committee meeting will be held at Melbourne Connect, 700 Swanston Street, Carlton. There will be a meet and greet with councillors with light refreshments provided from 5pm – 5.50pm. The meeting will then commence at 6pm.
In accordance with the directions issued by the Victorian Chief Health Officer, physical attendance is limited by registration only and will be permitted only to members of the public who have been double vaccinated.
Members of the public who wish to attend this meeting in person must email an expression of interest, including a contact telephone number, to com.meetings@melbourne.vic.gov.au.
Expressions of interest close at 10am on the day of the meeting. A member of staff will contact individuals to advise the outcome of their request. Physical attendance will be allocated on a first registered, first served basis.
The agenda and associated documentation for this meeting will be made available at 2pm on Thursday 10 February 2022. Submissions and public questions will also open at this time.
