The Launch Pad is a vibrant space designed to support innovation through creating, prototyping, pitching, and testing. As the focal point of The Superfloor, it facilitates ideation and knowledge exchange among the precinct community, The University of Melbourne, industry leaders, and visiting professionals, fostering meaningful collaboration and cross-sector engagement.
With a 70-person capacity, this high-traffic space provides an open-plan environment that encourages interaction and the sharing of expertise. Its versatile design accommodates a diverse range of activities, including product demonstrations, investor pitches, panel discussions, and hands-on prototyping sessions.
The Launch Pad is accessible via the Superfloor (mezzanine level).
Enter Melbourne Connect at ground level through the revolving glass doors at 700 Swanston Street. To reach the Superfloor, take the stairs or use the lifts on the right side of the foyer (press M on the lift call button). If using the lifts, exit at the Superfloor, proceed through the glass doors at the end of the lift gallery, and turn left to reach the Launch Pad. If taking the stairs, head to the concierge desk, turn left to walk around the Superfloor Café, then turn left again to reach The Launch Pad.
