The Aerospace & Rocket Engineering Society’s first rover was entered in the Australian Rover Challenge at the University of Adelaide in April 2022 and was awarded Runner Up.
Hosted by the University of Adelaide in partnership with the South Australian Space Industry Centre and supported by the Australian Space Agency and SmartSAT CRC, the competition gives an opportunity for university students to get hands-on experience in the Australian space sector.
The Rover Team includes several sub-systems teams, working collaboratively: chassis, electrical, robotic arm, science payload, software and media and marketing.
